Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
The King has died in suspicious circumstances. Within a month the Queen has married again- to the dead king's brother. And now a ghost has begun stalking the palace at night. The young Prince Hamlet feels that it is up to him to solve the mystery and put things right, but where to start ?
After the phenomenal success of their schools' touring productions of Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Tempest, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School present a bold new version of Shakespeare's tragic masterpiece, specially adapted for the understanding of younger audiences, whilst retaining all the intensity and beauty of the original verse. Suitable for KS2.

These two productions are entirely self contained and do not require a stage. A flat performance area (6m X 6m x3.5m headroom) and a domestic power supply are all that is technically required.
